Tomorrow is Martin Luther King Day. It's easy to think of these holidays as just an excuse for a three day weekend. (Not for all of us, some of us have to work.) But these holidays really mean something and we shouldn't just ignore the meaning behind them. It wasn't that many years ago that a large percentage of this country couldn't get a drink of water from the same fountain as I could just because of the color of their skin. We've come a long way, unfortunately we still have a ways to go. But in our haste tomorrow to rush out and buy whatever is on sale let's not forget what this day really means.
I've post two following posts to remember Dr. King.
