2008 will be here before you know it and we'll be electing a new President. Thank God! But who will we be electing. The Demos two front runners at the moment are Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. John Edwards is running close behind these two. All three have strong points and some weakness. I'm not sure Hillary could really win. She polarizes the country so much. Those that don't like her, just don't like her, they hate her. And I'm not sure the country would elect a woman President. Now I'm not saying we shouldn't. I would vote for her, but I don't know if the majority of the country would. And that's one of the problems I think Barack has. No, not that he's a woman, but that I don't know if this country would vote a black man for President. Both of these front runners have to face these issues, I would hope that the country could and would get past them, but honestly I'm not sure it would.
Still I think there is one front runner that a lot of people are forgetting about. He actually hasn't said he is running. Al Gore. In the last four years he has made an astounding recovery in the stiff, unblinking autotran that a lot of people looked at him as. He actually has already won once, even though he didn't get the job.
I think Al Gore has the best chance of winning.
