Susan Cowsill: Just Believe It

Artist of the Month: Susan Cowsill

Ok, it's about an hour before the month actually starts but I'm starting early. I haven't done one of these in awhile so I thought I'd bring it out and dust it off. An Artist of the Month. One of my favorite singers in the world: Susan Cowsill.

Shelby Lynne: Anyone Who Had A Heart

Shelby Lynne: The Albums

Shelby Lynne: Dead Flowers

Shelby Lynne: Difficult Kind w/ Sheryl Crow

Shelby Lynne: Your Lies

Artist of the Month: Shelby Lynne

It's back! Somehow Artist of the Month vanished from this blog over the last few months, but I've decided to bring it back. And this month's Artist of the Month is Shelby Lynne. (Actually for the month of February, since this month is really just about over with.)

Shelby has a new album out today called "Just A Little Lovin'", songs inspired by Dusty Springfield. She takes 9 songs made famous by Dusty (and one original) and remakes them. She strips them down to bare minimum, painos and guitar and not a lot of either. The songs rely on her voice.

Of course during the month I'll talk more about Shelby and show some videos and put up some music from her.

Theresa Andersson: It's Gonna Be Okay

Theresa sings over a tv show. I'm not sure what show this is, obviously its a rerun on A&E from NBC. Boomtown maybe? Not sure, but the song is great.

WOW! Am I Dumb!

I just realized that Theresa Anderson spells her name with two s's. It's Andersson. All this time I've been spelling it as Anderson without even thinking. I guess I should pay a little more attention. I apologize to Ms. Andersson for misspelling her name and will promise to try not to do it in the future.

Theresa Anderson: I'm On My Way

Theresa Anderson: Her Two Latest Albums

This is her self titled ep that was released right after Katrina.
This is Shine, the album she released before the ep.
