MIX TAPE MONDAY

A new feature! I'm sure so many of you are so excited. I got this idea from an article in Rolling Stone. One of their writers has a book coming out entiteld "Love Is A Mix Tape." It's written by Rob Sheffield. It tells his life through the mix tapes he made to chronicle events throughout his life. It's a book I want to get. It gave me the idea for this feature. Every Monday will be a collection of songs, a mix tape as it were. Here's today's feature:

Lori McKenna:

Music Codes - MySpace Layouts

Will Hoge:

Music Codes - MySpace Layouts

Jesse Malin:

Music Codes - MySpace Layouts

Alejandro Escovedro:

Music Codes - MySpace Layouts

Johnny Cash:

Music Codes - MySpace Layouts

Cool idea! I'm looking forward to your selections in coming weeks.

Part of the thing I'm enjoying about blogging is being exposed to so many different music selections. I share many of your tastes - and I'm getting exposure to some artists I've never heard.

I should have mentioned I got part of this idea from you also, I saw you post music on your site every week, so the two ideas just kind of formed into one...thanks.
