Today is not off to a good start. Last night after I got off work I was supposed to go back around nine and let the night crew in. Since we closed at 7 last night and the night crew doesn't come in till 9 there was a gap where no one was in the building. It wasn't a problem, I planned to go back around 8:30 so I would be there before anyone else showed up.
I woke up this morning around 8:30 and jumped up with a start. You know like in movies where the hero always jumps out of bed remembering a crucial plot element. Well, unfortunately I'm not the hero in this tale. I remembered that I was supposed to go back to work, I had completely forgotten about it.
I can't beieve I forgot to go back to work. I have never done that. I feel really bad right now. This is not the way I wanted my day to start.

Oh John.. you're a human like the rest of us. Please don't be so hard on yourself.
It happens to us all. Especially if you forget to set the alarm lol.
Ok.. so I could say.. don't worry.. it's not so bad..
Here's what I will say:
I admire that character trait John, not many folks are that conscientious. The fact it upsets you says a lot.
