Anyone reading this site for any length of time knows how much I love comic books and cartoons. I have to confess to not knowing much about the state of online comics and cartoons. I've heard that it is a flourishing industry, but I haven't had the time to check much of it. After discovering Gaspirtz's online comics I think I might have to check more of them out.
If you're a fan of The Far Side or just weird, dark humor comics you'll love these. Gaspirtz has had cartoons published in such places as National Enquirer, Sun, Saturday Evening Post, Funny Times and others. He also used to contribute to King Features' syndicate comic panel The New Breed before he decided to published exclusively online comics.
Gaspirtz still does his comics the old fashion way even if they are online comics, drawing them by hand and than scanning them and afterwards coloring them with photoshop.
Check out his site and you'll find yourself laughing out loud. I like his stuff so much I've added one of his cartoons to my sidebar. Check it out.
