Last night's show at Tipitina's was great. Shannon was the first of two opening acts, but she put on a great show. She did a few new songs from her forth coming cd that were really good. I've never seen Shannon put on a bad show yet. The only problem was that it wasn't long enough.
After the show Larry and I got a chance to spend a few minutes talking with her. She seems like a really sweet, nice person. She was tellling us all the places she's going to be performing in the next month or two around New Orleans. And this year will the first year she performs at Jazz Fest. And at the end she hugged us. A hug from Shannon McNally makes my day.
