On March 6 the final season of Northern Exposure comes out on DVD. This was one of the best shows that ever appeared on television. The last season went out with a sigh, not a bang. The actor playing Joel, the doctor from the series was leaving the show to go on to a movie career. You all know the great movie career Rob Morrow had, right? He's back on tv now, playing in Numbers. So they brought in a new doctor. This last season had a lot of characters acting out of character and was not up to the caliber of the previous five seasons. There were some good individual episodes though and the series finale was good. I remember the final minutes of the show with the song "My Town" by Iris Dement playing...it was moving.
