Clean Up Day

Today is clean up day around there parts. Besides running around in between trying to clean my house and do laundry (I figured out I have too many clothes. As long as I have clean clothes to wear I have a habit of not doing laundry till I have to. Now when I have to I have a HUGE pile of clothes to do) I am cleaning up my computer.

I've added the new Windows Vista program and for the most part it's pretty cool. I don't see a huge difference from XP, but it is different. The only problem so far is that it doesn't recongnize my printer/scanner. Yes, the one I just bought a few weeks ago. I emailed HP and they sent me an email on how to try and correct the problem. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, so I'm hoping that's all it will take.

I want three columns in my blog. Another blogger had made a post on how to change a two column to three and I tried, but it just didn't work. I want to keep the same basic format that I have now, just add a third column to the right of the main section. I tried a few things, but nothing worked so far.

I'm also going through my bookmarks and cleaning them up. I have a long list in my bookmarks and there is a lot in there that I never use. Or some of them I have added to my sidebar in my blog. So if it's something I haven't used in awhile it's going away.

Also it's time to clean up some of the links in the sidebar. I'm adding some new places to visit, like 2000 blogs and Fuel My Blog, to visit. I'm going to add some new links in the blogs I visit and sadly, I'm probably going to delete some of them. There are a few in the links that have not posted anything new for over half a year or more, the only reason I haven't deleted them is that they were some of the first blogs I visited and became friends with. But I just don't feel like they're coming back.

I'm adding a few new links on the sites about blogs and writer's sites and...well, probably a little something all over here and there. If I have the time I may try to add my T.V. links back. Before I switched to the newer version of Blogger I had a bunch of links to some of my favorite Television sites, you know, like Buffy and Angel and such.

There won't be major new changes around here, but if you look around you'll see a few.

There are a couple of blogs I visit that have the 3 column format. You might check them out.

I hope that helps!

I think I know the blogger you mentioned...I tried to follow his instructions but it didn't work for me (adding a 3rd column), only thing I can fugure is I have to begin with the same blank template but I'm afraid of losing too much stuff and I just haven't had the time to back things up and experiment...

That's the problem I have. Everything I do on here is by trial and error, I'm not much of a computer person and I'm afraid if I experiment too much I'm going to lose everything I've already done.
