Now This Pisses Me Off
Bush commutes Libby prison sentence.
"I respect the jury's verdict," Bush said in a statement. "But I have concluded that the prison sentence given to Mr. Libby is excessive. Therefore, I am commuting the portion of Mr. Libby's sentence that required him to spend thirty months in prison."
I guess the law only applies to some people.

F'in A! What the hell is that all about???? Let's waste tax payers money to put on the trial, for, wait for it... NOTHING!
My countdown clock says we're 80.56% over with this administration, hooray!
The law certainly never applies to the Clintons....
You know I wasn't going to resond to anonymous but I decided I can't let his comments go by. I'm so tired of hearing when Bush is called on the carpet for something his defenders always try to say Clinton did this or that or was so bad...it's like a kid telling his parents that he shouldn't get in trouble cause the other boys are worse than he is. Whatever Clinton did or didn't do, that's past, we're living now with the lies and half truths and deceptions that Bush tells everyday. I still don't know what Clinton could have done that was half as bad as Bush lying to get us in a war where our young men and women are dying everyday. But that seems to be ok...
John, you're a better man than I could be...
So, it's against the law to receive a bj?? Oh, I'm sorry, that is so much worse than lying to the public, evading the law, and showing the public that {forbid} Paris Hilton should serve more time for driving with an expired license than Libby who was convicted of a felony... Hmmm.
And, I just love those that throw out the numbers of pardons and commutations that Clinton gave and try to hold it up like it's something.... check into Reagan, the hero of the GOP, he gave more pardons and of course there's Nixon who gave double more than both of them.
Off my soapbox...
See John, that's why I don't go into politics on my blog.... although I'm just dying to post about Jesus painting in the courthouse in Slidell :)

Thanks for the link. Just what I figured for Bush, depends on what side you fall on if he's willing to help you or not.
