August 10th you'll find me at Tipitina's listening to Will Hoge. Will is one of my favorite performers and puts on one of the best shows you will ever see. He was singed to Atlantic for one album, Blackbird on a Lonley Wire, but had a bad experience there and went back to doing the indie thing, putting out his own cds. Recent news is that he's signed with another major, but no word on who and he has a new album coming out this Fall from said major. Hopefully he'll have better luck with them this time and they'll give him the push he needs to break out.
