You have mine and Heidi's deepest sympahies during this very difficult time. It is always hard losing a loved one. And while it doesn't help much with the pain you feel right now, take some comfort in knowing he is in a better place and no longer in any pain.

John, I am so sorry about your Father's passing away.
You and your family are in my prayers.
My Dad passed away a number of years ago, so I understand how nothing really helps lessen the impact, but knowing that even internet friends who you might never meet face to face are thinking of you and your family at this time can help.
I was overwhelmed by how many of my old, high-school friends showed up at my Dad's funeral. I was SO grateful, and I still am after all these years.
