Anyone remember Bucky Covington from last year's American Idol. He was one of the first to get booted from the final 12. On April 17 he's releasing his self titled cd. His single A Different World is out and rising on the country charts. I don't listen to much country radio so I haven't heard it. I'm just wondering how many of the 12 from last year's American Idol are going to have their own recording career?
So far there's been Taylor, Chris, Katherine, Kellie and now Bucky. I've also read that Paris has a cd coming out eventually. That's half of the final 12. That seems like a lot to me, compared to previous years.
Until last year I never really followed American Idol so I'm not sure if this is a record for the show or not, has there been that many runner ups to get their own records from other years?

I don't know if it's a record, but there was some good talent last season.
The only other CD I'm interested in, besides Taylor's, is Elliott's.
Forgot about him. That makes seven.
I liked Bucky and thought he got voted off too soon.
