I just got an email from House of Blues listing new shows. Some good ones are coming.
One that I missed before that is coming on the 18th of this month is Old Crow Medicine Show. I'd like to see them, but not sure if I'm off or what since I waited this long.
Lily Allen is on March 17, but that's only a few days after I see Taylor Hicks. Lily Allen is supposed to be one of the new big things. Her cd was voted by a lot of critics from 2006 as one of the best of the year.
On April 1 Josh Hoge is playing. Yes, he's Wills' brother. Their music isn't that similar so I'm not sure if I really want to see him or not. He's more pop/dance oriented.
Buddy Guy is April 27 and he would be great to see, but he's a little on the expensive side.
April 28 is Lucinda Williams and this is one I will attend. Last year I waited too long to get tickets for her and they were sold out. Lucinda Williams is one of my favorite performers so I plan to make it point to see her.
That's if so far. A few I'd like to see, but only one that I have to see.
