This edition of Travels we visit the city of London for a Beatles special. All the places in these pictures have something to do with the Beatles. I wasn't going to go all the way to London and not check out some Beatles sights.
This is in the park across the street from Paul McCartney's London Offices.
This is a shop that sells nothing but Beatles' related merchandise. It's on Baker Street. How do I remember the name of the street? Because right next to it is a Sherlock Holmes Museum and the address is 221 Baker Street.
This is the rooftop from where the Beatles played their last live concert as a group, recorded for the movie "Let It Be."
The Palladium, where they played.
Abbey Roads Studio, where the Beatles recorded most of their songs.
This is the fence the runs around the studios. We were told that they clean the graffiti off, but it doesn't matter. Visitors use this part of the fence as a sign that they've made the trek to Beatle Holy Ground.
The Famous Abbey Road crosswalk. All I needed was a VW Beetle on the side of the street and it could have come straight off the album. It's amazing that the scene looks so much like the album cover still, almost thiry years later.

Lovely trip. I did it in 1985 taking in Liverpool as well. Thanks for the ride down memory lane...!
