My Thoughts on Captain America
Everyone has heard about the death of Captain America now. I've been thinking about a post on the subject but haven't decided what to write yet. A lot of what I feel about the whole thing was summed up pretty nicely by Gordon over at Blog THIS, Pal! If I can think of something to say about the whole thing I'll write a post, otherwise go read what he has to say. Captain America was more than just a comic book character.

Hello...CWM has us on her blog today and I wanted to come see what you're all about! I didn't know I'd want up ranting. I'll make it short. I read your friend's blog about CA and agree 100%. It ticked me off when I read about it in the news. Our kids have too few heroes today and the ones they look up to are usually "thuggy," to say the least. So, what do they do with the good guys? They kill 'em off. Smart thinking, especially in a time of war. Yeah, I was ticked, all right!
Okay, piece said.
I like your site!!!
I'm still trying to process this whole thing. We're still talking about it at work - the dynamic of how people are reacting to the loss is as interesting as Cap's death and the circumstances of it.
Oddly iconic.
