Tomorrow night is Taylor Hicks at the House of Blues in downtown New Orleans. My friend Nick is going with me. Last year Nick worked with me and after every episode of Idol we would dissect who we thought did good and who deserved the boot. But from the start we both liked Taylor. Nick I think favored Kellie or Chris a little more at the start, but I was pulling for Taylor right off the bat. Nick and I plan to leave early and make a day of it in the city. I haven't been in the Quarter or downtown for awhile, at least not to just walk around and take pictures. So hopefully those rain clouds I saw today hold off for at least another day and we'll have some good weather. If I get some good pictures I'll post them here. I'm excited, I think this will be a great concert.
