More new fiction
I'm enjoying going through some of my old stuff. A lot of it I've put to the side, some maybe to try and re-work, some never to be seen again. My Thirteen Thursday of first lines all seemed to have one first line as the one everyone wanted to see the story behind. Well, it follows this post. It's called "The Search." It's not a normal story by any means. After that first line could it be? When I was younger I was a big reader of science fiction and that was the first type of stories I tried to write. As I read more science fiction I began to read a lot of what was called New Wave at the time. If I had to place this following story in a category I would have to say it was my stab at some new wave science fiction. It's definitely not like anything I'd posted on here yet.
