Arnold Drake, R.I.P.



Arnold Drake, co-creator of Stanley and his Monster, Deadman and The Doom Patrol died today of pneumonia and septic shock. Drake was a writer for DC Comics where he created his better known characters and later worked for Marvel Comics and Gold Key Comics. Drake was a voice in the comic industry that spoke out for better conditions for the creators and was one reason he left DC Comics and went to work for other publishers. Mr. Drake was 83 years old.
