Lost Tonight

I've missed the last few episodes of Lost, having to work. I forgot that they show last weeks' episode before the new one, so I didn't turn in until nine to catch the new episode.

So now they're back on the island. They go back to the island to save the others left behind, right? So they were ready to sacrifice a planeload of innocent people to get back to the island. I have trouble with that. I find it hard to believe that they all wanted to get back to the island that bad. Ben, yes. In fact his comment to Jack on the plane was on target for him. But Jack, Hurley, Kate, Sun, Sayid....all willing to have all those others die to get back to the island. Not sure I buy that. But as it looks the others on the plane didn't die. Jack, Kate and Hurley appear on the island, no sign of a plane crash. I think somehow they just vanished from the plane to appear on the island.

Otherwise that did everyone else think about this episode?

Ohhh it was such a great episode... where to begin... Hurley cared about the people on the plane, that's why he bought 78 plane tickets and didn't want any stand-bys getting on, seemed like a few got on, but that the marshall with Sayid and the other guy in first class will survive and end up on the island, somehow I think they are tied in with the Dharma Initiative or Whidmore. When I heard "this is Frank J Lapidus and I'll be your pilot" I screamed so loud with joy!! What did Kate do with Aaron, obviously gave him to someone, but who?? The guy who plays Ben is an amazing actor and I hate him so! I think Hurley might have had another vision of Charlie about going back to the island and that is why he is carrying a guitar case. I was very confused in the beginning and will have to rewatch and tune in for next week's pop-up version. You have to watch/tape/tivo the 8pm episodes with the pop-ups!!

Bond...sorry I should have put a spoiler warning in, didn't mean to ruin the episode for you.

Aims, I did like the fact that Hurley bought all the tickets, so I was somewhat surprised when it looked like a lot of people on the plane back in coach. You know that one other guy in first class will be on the island, when he said something to Jack at the airport you just knew there was more to him. I was wondering about the guitar case too, didn't think about Charlie, good guess. I'm kicking myself for not watching the first half with the pop ups.

I'm thinking at some point I'll have to get all of the dvds to and take the time to watch them through. This show can get way too confusing and I haven't followed in since mid-season 3.

oh yea Travis if you haven't seen it since than you'll probably be lost (no pun intended). Even watching the show on a regular basis can leave you feeling that way. But I think it's worth it, it's one of the few shows out there that definitely doesn't play down to your intelligence.

No worries, I realized immediately and stopped reading, so I did not see any spoilers...OK...watched last night.

I don't think Hurley knew why he was there...I totally agree with Aims that we will find out that Charlie came to him and told him he must go..after all Hurley has a guitar and we have never seen him play one, though Charlie did.

Sun is there to find Jin...

What did Kate do with Aaron? I am not sure the marshall has anything to do with the island but sure enough we will see the other first-class passenger at some time.

I also laughed (as Aims did) when Frank introduced himself over the intercom!

I watched with the pop-ups last year and found them annoying...just my opinion.

I loved the episode. But I was wondering about Hurley too, wasn't he in jail?

Jessica, I'm not sure, I missed the last two weeks of shows. My work schedule is never the same, so some Wednesday nights I have to work. I really need to get a DVR or TiVo.

Jessica - Hurley was in jail (they thought he killed the guy outside the mental hospital and the other two guys that Sayid killed) but remember, Ben's lawyer (who was the father on My So Called Life!!) said that they didn't have a case against him and they would have in out in the morning.

I have some theories where Aaron might be... Kate gave him to her mothery or maybe she made a deal with Widmore or his people and they have him... I don't know for sure, but can't wait to find out.

Looks like next week we find out what happened when Locke left the island and met up with the Oceanic 6... maybe we'll get to see Walt, didn't he go see Walt too?

I forgot Hurley was arrested for the murder. That was the last episode I had seen before last night, when he gave up to the police. Has Walt been seen yet this season? He's got to be pretty big now, but I guess the time line of the show might have caught up to his actual aging now.

The only time I've seen Walt this season is in the Tysons' Chicken commercials!! I think it's Tysons' Chicken, we were watching Lost and that commerical came on and we all yelled "WALT!!". It was quite amusing!
