Think we're looking at the next Republican candidate for President? For giving the Republican counter point to President Obama's speech he made sure to highlight his life and achievements as Governor of my state. I think someone mentioned he's already been to Iowa recently. He's starting to run for President pretty early.

He was on Meet The Press Sunday morning and was asked about that, running for President, and of course he said he is working for LA and the people that elected him, and danced around stating if he would or not.
Do you watch 30 Rock? For some reason last night during Jindal's response, I couldn't help but hear Kenneth the Page from 30 Rock! His cadance was the weirdest thing, I've heard him talk before and didn't notice this, maybe because it was written and he was reading it, instead of just talking on the fly, but it was cracking me up!
I'm not a regular watcher of 30 Rock but I know the character you mean. Jindal does have a distinctive way of speaking now that you mention it. Now every time I hear him I'm going to think of Kenneth the page. And since he's my governor I hear him a lot lol.
