Music In Exile

About two months after Katrina Robert Mugge began filming what would become the film Music In Exile. It shows the many musicians that lost so much during the storm and where they ended up afterwards and their struggle to come back home. This is an awesome film. I just picked it up on DVD and this film will have you in tears one moment and than filled with joy the next. And it's full of great music. The song over the opening is Theresa Anderson doing Neil Young's "Like A Hurricane" and it will take your breath away, it's that good. The rest of the music on this film is just as good.

Watching Pt 5 of WHen The Levees Broke as I read this. I can't watch it without becoming literally speechless with rage. 2 years later, I just can not believe that the Gulf Coast is still in the condition it is. I have heard of Music In Exile but have not yet seen it. I have donated to Music Rising and Habitat's Musician Villiage.
