Thank you for the kind words! This has been an awful virus. Back to the doctor tomorrow for me.
As for the Katrina post, I was happy to do it. It makes me furious that 2 years later the rest of the country has forgotten. The government barely noticed so I suppose "forget" is a verb we can not apply to them.
I just hate to think that the Gulf Coast States feel invisible to the rest of America. Kidlet and I are visiting NOLA next summer and I plan on spending a couple days volunteering while there.
