Will Hoge on the Mend

A few months back Will Hoge was in an accident that was pretty serious. He was busted up pretty bad and has been undergoing surgery and re hap since. He's getting ready to go back out on the road for a small tour soon. To me Will Hoge is the promise of rock and roll. Here's a two part interview/songs from him before his accident.

And no where near me down here in New Orleans. I was hoping he was coming this way. I would have even settled for Memphis, I could have went up to visit my Mom and seen Will at the same time. It's been too long since I've seen Will in concert, he used to come to New Orleans a few times a year, but even before the accident he had slowed down his visits here.

For those you have never seen Will perform live you should definitely go. Pound for pound he's one of the most exciting performers out there. This tour will probably be a lot more calm since he's still recovering, but more than worth it.

i have a feeling after these few shows, they might head back into the studio to finish the album they were working on before the accident, and then hit more cities later this summer/fall. he's playing my area when I'll be at Jazz Fest, so I'm looking into hitting an "out of town" show for me.

I hope so. Did you hear that the day after the accident he was supposed to be in the studio with Bruce Springsteen. Bruce was flying down to Nashville to do a song with him. That would have been a big boost for his career. Hopefully Bruce will still do a song with him for his new album.

Bruce & Will... was that true? I know I read it in his post that he had the "numbers to call his people", and if it is true, you know that would be a dream duet/pairing for me...
