Ok, I know I just said I won't be around for the next few days and here I am. One thing being sick has left me not wanting to do anything but lay around in bed and while I'm home laying in bed I figure I can at least watch tv and what I've been watching is The Wire. I recently purchased the complete series and am now on Season Five, the final one. I'll talk later about how good this show is, but I thought I'd just leave with the introduction of the show in this scene.

Is this the prison one? I have meant to check it out.
No the prison one is Oz and I could never get into that one. This is set in Baltimore and is along the lines of the tv show Homicide. It's by the same creator. But it's the most truthful cop show I've ever seen.
This is one of the best (if not the best) TV shows I've ever seen...HBO certainly does a series good!
I've heard only good things about this show. I will have to see if my local library has the DVDs available; maybe I will check it out that way.
