TRAVELS
: The Weirdest Sight I Saw In D.C.

Still not sure why the mailbox was painted to look like R2D2, but I saw another one in a different part of the city. Still it is pretty cool for nerds like me.

The USPS is planning some upcoming Star Wars commemorative stamps, and they thought it might be neat to have R2D2 mail boxes.

Hey, I don't get it either.

Sweet! What would be funnier is if it was a traveling mailbox, roaming around town bleeping and blooping like R2D2. Well, until all you bills were late. Then it would not be funny at all...

That's very cool.. and we all know how reliable old R2D2 was when it came to delivering messages... let's hope the USPS will live up to the image.

Oh.. and you've been tagged with a musical meme... hope you feel like playing!
