Happy Earth Day!

Tomorrow is Earth Day.
The first Earth Day was on Sunday, November 30, 1970 and organized and started by Senator Gaylord Nelson as a way to raise conerns about the enviroment.
As a side note, last year when I went to Disney World and was looking for Jiminy Cricket, who is my favorite character next to Kermit, I was told he only comes out on Earth Day now. I couldn't find any shirts or anything except a pin with him on it. So if I was at Disney World tomorrow I would get a chance to take my picture with Jiminy Cricket.

Why would Disney retire such a beloved character as Jiminy Cricket to only appearing on Earth Day? That seems odd.

That's what I thought too. I guess they just revolve their characters every so often. When I went last year they were pushing Stitch, he was everywhere.
