Some Good News

With all the gloom and doom about Gustav I thought I'd post Barrack Obama's acceptance speech. I wasn't able to watch it, I had to work Thursday.

I watched it with my parents and the Kidlet. It was history in the making. I fully support his entire platform and I think he means every word he says. My concern with Obama has always been that his speeches are slim on the details. I feel better with Biden on the ticket. Of course there is no way in hell I'd vote McCain now that he has added Palin. She is the second coming of Phyllis Schafly in my book.

I took a break from the Harley Fest in Milwaukee to watch portions of the DNC and especially the acceptance speech...
What a dynamic speaker...I can still only shake my head in disbelief that the American public voted in for 2 terms, someone who can't spit out a coherent and intelligent sentence...
Change is gonna be good...
