This one is for my pal, Travis, in case he hasn't seen it yet. I didn't realize until I saw it at the bookstore, but Jim Butcher has a new book out staring Harry Dresden. It's actually not the next in the series, but a collection of stories that Butcher has written about Dresden over the years. And it includes a novella that takes place right after the events of the last Dresden novel, which if you read that will know the anticipation his fans are feeling waiting for the new book.

Yes! Thanks for telling me about this because I did not know! It's going right on my Wish List so I can get it as soon as I finish the book I'm currently reading.
Thanks John!
I had no idea either, I just saw it when I was at the bookstore. Let me know how it is, you'll probably get it before me.
Well, I broke my "finish one book first" rule yesterday. I went ahead and bought the book and read the novella. Now I'll go back and read the other stories.
The book was $12.99 for the Kindle version. It was worth it for the Aftermath novella. Harry isn't mentioned in it...the lead character is Murphy, just after the shooting at the end of Changes.
The Amazon reviews suggest that the short stories may not measure up to Butcher's novel length work. I guess I'll find out if that's true, and if it even matters, once I start on them.
