This is something I've been working on for awhile now. My column from TopBlogMag, "Voices to hear" is moving to its own site. It may still pop up now and than at TopBlogMag, but from now on it will be on its own site, helping to spread the word about those musical artists that need the word spread about them.
This is what I said about it over on the site:
Our mission at this site is to promote an artist, a group, a CD, a song that you might have passed by. Unless you have a major record company promoting your newest release it’s hard to get noticed. In today’s rapid on-the-go world it’s hard to find the time to discover that artist that falls between the cracks. There’s a lot of good music out there that deserves a wider audience and that’s the goal of this site. We want to help you find that music.
Voices to hear is going to be a site only for music and for music that I want to try and spread the love for. This site will still be my site for everything else and still including music.
Every Monday I'll update Voices to hear with a new post about a deserving artist, pretty much like I was doing at TopBlogMag. In addition I hope to have a few extras thrown in now and than on the site.
And no, nothing went wrong with TopBlogMag. You'll still find me there, writing as much as I can about different things. It's still a site worth checking out.
I hope everyone comes by to check out the new site.
