The Senator and the Madame

For more information about this whole episode check out this page and the book about the DC Madame.  I really don't have a problem with David Vitter visiting prostitutes, but if he's going to run on a family value ticket and be holier than thou about others than I have a problem with that.  And the worst part about this whole thing is that he'll probably be re-elected.

That seems to be a theme doesn't it? Somebody makes the image as a "values champion", and then the sordid details come out that prove the hypocrisy.

If they wouldn't be such a values champion it wouldn't make such a big deal. Something like that is more of a problem between the husband and wife, but when he touts himself as a champion of family values and trots the kids out to campaign for himself, than he's setting himself up for something like this.
