Hurricane Season Coming

Last year was a fairly mild hurricane season. Everyone down here was on pins and needles after Katrina, waiting for the other shoe to drop and another hurricane to blow through the city. Luckily that didn't happen.

This year the experts are predicting 17 tropical storms with 9 hurricanes and at least 5 of these intense with winds above 111 mphs. Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30.
Let's hope the experts are wrong and we have a season like last year. New Orleans is nowhere near ready for any type of large storm.
