I really wanted to put some pics up, but haven't figured how to do that yet on here. Coming from a city that's went through this type of thing I know how important it can be to keep it front and center. If for no reason than morale, it really does help if you feel the rest ot the country is with you.John Hollandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11714537622409205603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10801053.post-25408192282928094292010-05-08T16:20:48.532-05:002010-05-08T16:20:48.532-05:00It's been kind of a weird situation as far as ...It's been kind of a weird situation as far as that goes. On the one hand, we're hearing countless stories where people were discouraged from buying, or, as in the case of the guy whose house I've worked at some this week, were not even allowed to buy flood insurance. It's actually raising some serious issues that may end up becoming a big deal as this thing wears on.

Thank you for your kind words and for drawing attention to the situation here in Nashville and surrounding areas.

And--I've mentioned this before, I think--for whatever reason your feed doesn't update in my google reader, so my apologies for always being behind on reading your blog :).holly wynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08667113630829157468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10801053.post-83056522341600246012010-05-08T00:21:27.808-05:002010-05-08T00:21:27.808-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.John Hollandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11714537622409205603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10801053.post-1636197840740518002010-05-08T00:21:27.423-05:002010-05-08T00:21:27.423-05:00You never know if you'll need it. I carry earthquake insurance but not flood, because I don't live in an area that floods.

However...

I do live near a volcano. The way they explode up here, they could cause massive flooding. This is a good wake-up call for me. It's not expensive for me to have that extra protection.Travis Codyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06192526507760146748noreply@blogger.com
